Our Focus Areas for CBA

CAI's CBA Center services are practical, data-driven and customized for each organization. For 35 years, CAI has provided training and technical assistance to healthcare organizations and clinical settings nationwide, focused on increasing early detection, linkage to and retention in care, and treatment for those living with HIV. The Center offers four levels of capacity building assistance to facilitate High-Impact Prevention:

Core CBA focuses on increasing staff knowledge and promoting best practices through online resource guides, videos, info briefs, and practical assessment tools.

Enhanced CBA supports the usage of CORE resources through individualized and group trainings, in-person skills development, and remote learning communities.

Intensive CBA combines tailored on-site and remote training, mentoring and technical assistance (TA) in high-need jurisdictions to support long-term impact and evaluation.

Specialized CBA promotes collective impact, systems improvement, and the delivery of HIP through innovative, in-person learning collaboratives.

Using evidence-based best practices and the principles of Adult Learning Theory, CAI delivers CBA services through online resources, in-person trainings, learning collaboratives and specialized technical assistance (TA) designed to support the implemention of High-Impact HIV Prevention.
